Mr. Burger, tucked away in Wyoming, MI, exudes a classic American diner charm, embodying nostalgia and comfort. Patrons rave about the unbeatable value and delicious fare that keep them coming back. David Ensing describes the food as “incredible,” while Jan Carlson praises the diverse menu, highlighting both chicken strips and pie as must-tries.
The Mr. Triple burger stands out as a fan favorite, with a generous stack of three patties and creamy cheeses that meld beautifully, creating a “greasy good” experience. Aaron Lehrman admits it’s his top choice, despite its messiness. The fries, while tasty, could benefit from a touch more seasoning, yet the free self-serve water with crushed ice speaks to thoughtful details appreciated by diners.
Mr. Burger’s welcoming atmosphere is complemented by friendly, cafeteria-style service. W K. appreciates the restaurant’s support for first responders, adding to the warm community vibe. Whether it’s an intimate meal or casual catch-up, Mr. Burger offers a quiet haven for those seeking delicious bites and good conversation. It’s not just a meal; it’s a cherished experience worth revisiting.

I no longer live in the area and the restaurant is exactly as I remember it. It was my husband's first time trying it and he enjoyed it. Good food and service.

This restaurant is great. It has that old fashioned diner feel combined with great, friendly service from the staff. I also think it’s great that they take care of first responders. Great place!

Probably my best visit to a Mr. Burger yet. I think the Mr. Triple is my favorite, but I have yet to try the Mr. Bacon Deluxe. It feels like a wholesome family restaurant. - Mr. Triple burger - 8.80: Greasy good! Just the right amount of everything. I thought having three patties and two slices of cheese was a little off, but it definitely worked. I cannot think of anything I would change about this burger except it was a bit messy and expensive for the quality, but not by much. I’d love to eat this burger again. It comes with half a pound of beef (1/6lb each patty), American cheese, swiss cheese, special sauce and lettuce. - Fries - 3.20: A bit on the larger side of a serving, but fairly plain and needed more salt. For those who follow me on Google Maps, that is NOT normal for me. - Water (free): Self-serve and they have crushed ice, my favorite way of drinking water! - Service: Cafeteria style service. You grab a tray (I forgot this at the beginning), you order your food, and pay. It was a bit busy, but they were accurate with my order except that they billed it as a Mr. Bacon Deluxe instead of a Mr. Triple. It is the same price, but still. The Mr. Triple was also not listed on the menu (I saw it on the website and it was pictured otherwise). Everything was otherwise fine and they were professional. - Atmosphere: Very quiet. No music. The carpet and the ceiling tiles really dampen the volume and allow for wonderful and natural conversation. It is not a fancy restaurant, but I loved it. - Conclusion: If you want excellent value, this is your place. If you are looking for a quiet place to meet up, this is DEFINITELY your place. They thought of some small things I particularly value. Visited on a Wednesday at 11am.

Great establishment. Great food! Great prices. Sometimes you don't get that good bedside manner with the young people that work there, but that's to be expected in today's generation

Just like it was 40 years ago when I was a kid. Proud to take my kids there when I visit Grand Rapids so they can have a taste of my childhood.

I went during my lunch break so there was like a 15 min wait but totally worth it. Nice portion sizes and everything tasted freshly made
